As colder weather approaches (the weather people have a rumor there could be snow next Wednesday), I know I’ll spend more time inside and therefore watching television. So I decided to see what other people watch, because per my hubby and tribe members, most people do not spend every weekend watching the Sfy movies and the food channel. They believe I have exceeded the legal amount of times you can watch Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus (LOVE this movie!).
So I went on a top romance movie hunt on the internet (see in yesterday’s post I told you I read nothing that will save my life if I’m kidnapped by guerilla soldiers). Here is what I found…
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind was in the top 20 on one site. Never heard of this but the fact it has Jim Carrey in it, I’m not sold. While Jim Carrey is a talent actor, a romance man?
This site also had Wuthering Heights, Moulin Rouge, and Romeo & Juliet in the top 20. I want happy ever romance not tragedy. So back to the search engine.
Per Yahoo Movies, the number one romance movie – Raiders of the Lost Ark. Romance – really?
Block Buster’s top were Gone with the Wind and Disney cartoon’s Beauty & the beast. I’m probably the only person in the world who doesn’t go all mushy inside with Rhett. BUT I do like Beauty & the beast. Chip makes me smile.
More sites…found a lot of people consider Raiders of the Lost Ark a romance. But I’m still clueless on what I’m going to spend the cold snowy North Michigan winter watching. Sorry boys, I think it’s more Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus.
